LINDEN, “Tilia playphyllos”, “Tilia” refers to “wing” from ancient Greek “ptilon” due to few leaves close to the flower. “Platyphyllos”, Latin adjective that means “broad leaf”.
ORANGE BLOSSOM, “Citrus aurantium” “Citrus”, from Latin, classic name of the poncemer(citrus medica). The epithet comes from the Latin “aurantus” golden, for the color of its fruits. The name of its flower in Spanish Azahar comes from the classis Arab , az-zahr that means flowers.
MINT,”Mentha sativa” Etymologicaly “mentha” derives from Latin “mintha”, and it is the Greek name of Minta the nymph who became a plant. “Sativa”, means cultivated.
BALM, Due to the smell of its leaves. Cientific name: “Melissa officinalis”. “Melissa” Latin name of the bee. “Officinalis” refers to its medicinal use in the “offices”, pharmacy “offices”.
